2017 ODS Championships

William and I had a fairy tale ending to our very first season of Grand Prix. The season started with uncertainty and self doubt, but ended in a celebration of what I have accomplished with the best "first GP horse" in the world. Although the scores were low at Championships, and the competition slim, the victory lap of Reserve Open Grand Prix Champion was a special moment for my personal journey of bringing William along for 10+ years.

But as always, the best part of the weekend was having my dear friends/students, fellow competitors, my dad, and my husband out all weekend cheering me on. Knowing they are happy to dedicate a good chunk of their weekend to come support me is such a gift.
